I’ve mentioned peppermint tea and how much better I feel after drinking it in one of my previous posts. But why do I rave on about it so much? What’s actually good about it and are there actually any benefits to drinking it? Of course there are!
It improves your digestion
It aids in moving gas through your body as it accumulates which would otherwise cause bloating, cramping and general discomfort. This tea also stimulates bile flow to increase the rate and efficiency of digestion and promote healthy bowel movements.
Peppermint tea has antibacterial properties to fight against bacteria that causes illnesses such as cold and flu.
Removes bad breath
If you have terrible morning breath then peppermint tea may be the thing for you! Due to its strong, menthol flavor and its antibacterial properties, the germs are killed and the smell is overwhelmed by the menthol flavor!
Reduces stress levels
The natural sedative or antispasmodic nature of menthol helps you get instant relief from mental stress. The anti-inflammatory nature of peppermint tea can reduce your blood pressure and body temperature, which allows you to unwind and relax and letting your stress melt away.

As I mentioned before, peppermint tea has got a strong menthol flavor which works very well with me as I absolutely love mint!
